How the AI Model Works
Baby Face AI combines face recognition + genetic feature prediction models. From the two faces you upload, it extracts feature vectors (eye shape, nose, mouth, bone structure, skin tone), simulates a genetic mix, and renders a visual result.
Stack: Flutter, Fal.ai Flux (image generation), StyleGAN-based face synthesis models, on-device face detection (TFLite — for privacy), Cloudflare R2 (temporary photo storage, auto-deleted after 24 hours).
Scientific accuracy: this is an entertainment app, not a definitive picture of how your real baby will look. Genetics is complex and chance plays a role. But surface-level resemblance predictions are fun and widely shared on social media.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the result match the real baby?
For fun — not definitive. The actual baby may differ via genetic chance. Still, the facial feature blend looks entertaining.
Are my photos stored in the cloud?
24-hour temporary storage (for generating results), then auto-deleted. There's also a 'delete now' button.
Is the result consistent for the same couple?
Mostly yes — same algorithm, same result. Some variation possible.
Same-sex couples or single parents?
Two photos are uploaded — works regardless of gender/relationship type. For single parents, an option to generate an estimated partner face exists.
