Why Meta's Official API Matters

WhatsApp Business App (phone): Single phone, manual. Fine for 2-3 customers. Insufficient for professional use.

WhatsApp Business API (official): Server-driven, bulk, software-integrated. You can message 100+ customers per day. This is what we integrate.

Third-party 'WhatsApp panels': Unofficial, high account-ban risk. We don't recommend.

Setup: Meta Business Account, phone verification, BSP (Business Solution Provider) agreement. Twilio, 360dialog, Vonage or self-hosted — per project.

Cost: WhatsApp API pricing is per-conversation. Customer-initiated (utility) ~$0.02, business-initiated (marketing) ~$0.05. Monthly 1000 customers ≈ $20-80.

GDPR & Meta compliance: Customer must explicitly opt in. If they don't reply in 24 hours the 'session' closes and you can only message via approved templates. We manage this.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?

Usually yes — the number gets removed from the WhatsApp Business App (not deleted, just migrated). Once on the API, the old app no longer uses that number; everything runs from the server.

Is bulk marketing messaging legal?

Permission-based marketing: if customer opted in, yes. Unsolicited bulk messages: banned, account suspended + fines. GDPR-style consent is critical.

Does the chatbot speak multiple languages?

Yes. OpenAI/Claude handle most languages well. We can fine-tune for your industry (restaurant menus, clinic treatments, etc.).
